The photo of the seaside pool – the construction is for what’s called an “infinity” pool. This one is clearly a nod to the Rothschild estate and gardens on Corfu. This is probably of one of the many luxury hotels and villas on Corfu which use similar design features, including the dramatic rocky backdrops and infinity pools. If you have an opportunity to watch (stream on the BBC) the Greece episode of English gardener Monty Don’s four-part Adriatic documentary, it features a rare glimpse of this very private estate. Breathtaking.
