SATURDAY IS PHOBLOG DAY!

Today, I think I will move some horses around…  I still have not found a perfect friend for Maggie Mae Mare.  (She’s the one I rescued when we first came back to Grass Valley.)   Anyway, she has not been truly accepted in with Finn and Missy Miss.  She likes Dalton, but Dalton is better as an Uncle to the Baby.  I tried to put Mama (of baby) in with Maggie Mae Mare, but she just kicked the crap out of the young Mama and I had to get her out of there.  In fact, the two are next to each other and they fight over the fence – constantly.  (I have no idea what is going on there…).  So, I thought I’d put Dalton back in with MMM, just so that she could relax a bit, and then maybe try Mo.  But Mo is an odd donkey in that he acts all lovey over the fence, but when you put him in with anyone, he tries to dominate in a very dominant way.   When I let MMM out and ask her to pick where she wants to go… she just walks around and greets everyone.  She especially likes Willy (Dominic), but he is very stallion-like with mares.  I had put Gwen in with him a year ago, and I watched him mount her. (I had his blood checked and he isn’t cryptorchid)   So, probably not a good idea to give him a mare.  But, I may try it.  Dunno.

Trials and tribulations of equine society.

HERE WE GO!

So Clever!

I swear, birds are God’s canvas.

Amazing. Facade slipping. I never knew this happened!

I don’t think I could do this.

A brand new being.

I never knew a salmon run looked like this!

USC’s (I graduated from there…) marching band at the Olympics in Paris! Fight on!

So majestic and beautiful.

Baby Morgan horses. Love.

An amazing abandoned home… I wonder what the walls would say?

Wow! Probably AI…

OK… more Morgan babies. Sorry! (not sorry)

If this isn’t pure joy, I don’t know what is…

OK, last baby Morgan photo from my favorite Morgan Horse Farm, East of Equinox. (My very best Show horse/riding horse/trail horse came from there.)

KEEP THEM OFF THE TRUCK FUND.
