I sit here posed to write after spending an hour on the phone, wrestling the life-truths (while doing the dishes, putting in laundry and preparing dinner) out of my very good friend who has been seeking her next juncture in life.

My friend has been incredibly frustrated and loggerjammed.  So much talent yet so many rough roads recently.

We’ve all been there…  You push and push with all of your might, sighing heavily while trying to MAKE something happen for yourself over and over and over until you are totally weary and your mind is filled with all the roadblocks that have tripped you lately – muttering how your life just is working easily anymore…

…and then suddenly you trip and fall through the opened door that you hadn’t noticed before.

And when you fall through that open door, the landing is soft – and you say to yourself… ‘Ahhh, This is it.  This is where I was supposed to be and it was right before my eyes the whole time!   How could I have missed this?!’

How come indeed.

And inadvertently, if you are lucky enough, YOU are the fortunate one to participate in someone’s Ah-Ha! moment.  Through just sheer luck of being at the right place at the right time, you become the instrument through which the clarity unfolds.

(I love how the energy in the air clearly snapcracklesandpops when the right idea floats to the surface…)

I’m guessing that my friend will be up for a few hours, writing down all of her new ideas and that she will sleep happily for the first time in quite a while.

And for me, I will go to sleep feeling so lucky and bewildered – in a good way – on how/why I was able to help her.

So Cin Cin to my friend tonight.  May your path to success be worn heavily by healthy hooves and may all of your riders have very Happy Trails.
