A while back I wrote about Jim Brandvik, an artist who engraves horseshoes.
I was particularly intrigued by his use of horseshoes… you see, there was a story of a woman who sent her beloved, passed horse’s shoes to him for some sort of special tribute engraving.
The shoes turned out B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.
What a great idea!
HMMMMM.
And then he came up with a ton of other ideas of ways to gift engraved horseshoes plus other horsey engraved items – jewelry, knives, spurs … just about anything that can be engraved, he engraves.
Well…
Evidently, he sold some work via my blog post so he thanked me with a gift!
Wow!
THIS IS WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL!
This is what showed up in the mail! It was a very nice Thank You card and this lovely champagne diamond engraved horse shoe nail necklace!
I was flabbergasted!!!
I’ve added the professional shot from his website so that you can see how beautiful it really is in person. My photography doesn’t do it justice!
Wow! Thank you, Jim Brandvik!
And, in turn, I decided to peruse his website again for items that I liked.
ITEMS I LIKED!
1) I loved these horseshoes as a wedding present for the horsey couple! How sweet, Western and elegant in the same breath. Of course, it could be English, too…
2) I love jewelry, so of course I went to that first…
3) For the guy who likes knives, I thought this was a creative gift.
4) Other cool items:

I’ve always loved these – even though I don’t like spurs, I’d love to wear these (without rollers) on my boots!
THANK YOU, JIM… I totally appreciate your gift to me and will wear it with pride!
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth… if you like this, please pass it around!
