WELL, 2 YEARS LATER, HE IS RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL!
Thanks to all the incredible care from Dr. Blake Roseberry, his wife, Robyn, along with a dedicated staff, Northstar was released and went home in July.
I am sure that there were plenty of times that someone wanted to give up the fight… but thankfully, this team of caregivers held onto each other for support and fed off of the spirit of this fighter gelding!
Yup. He was intentionally doused with gasoline and set afire – while he was safe in his own pasture… NorthStar’s horrified owners stood by him for 2 years.
I’m sure there is ongoing aftercare and lots of sunscreen and sun sheets applied, but this boy looks alert, happy and fit! Wahoo!
