OWLS CAN BE FIERCE! But these were just too cute…

Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 | Filed under Musings

What do owls have to do with horses?

Not much… except owls often live in barns and horses also live in barns.

And, owls do eat rodents who tend to live in hay which is destined for the horses.

So, in a Kevin Bacon kind of way, owls and horses are related.

TOO CUTE!

I was browsing MSNBC for animal photos and found this article.

It reminds me of the book I read and gave away (and the name I cannot remember) but it was about a woman who rescues a baby owl and the owl takes over her life.  *A reader just told me the name of the book!  It is Wesley the Owl by Stacey O’ Brien
The Remarkable Love Story of an Owl and His Girl.  Read it if you can!

The book was something like, “Good Owl Blahblah”.  If you know the book, let me know because it deserves a better intro than that.  The book was a great read!

Anyway, these pics were too cute to not send to you on this Thursday!
