I have a big ol’ Post-It note on my desktop.
It is filled with ‘links for future stories’ – ideas that I don’t have time to pursue when they come across my desk but I don’t want to forget that I once knew about whatever it was… I cut and paste the information on a massive Post-It and then go back whenever I am looking for a story.
Today, I was browsing the Post-it and saw this link: http://www.lauraz.net/Laura_Z/Welcome.html
Hmmmm. I totally forgot where I got it or what it was.
So I clicked it, of course.
This is what I saw…

OMG! Look at those healthy and intelligent faces!! I had to know more!
OMG.
Look a those gawjus faces! Handsome boys!
Just looking at this photo, I made my own personality profile of each:
The top one is the fun one. He is fairly confident but also the joker.
The middle one is the sensible and wise horse. The others go to him for security.
The bottom one is the fussiest of the bunch. He is also the hottest.
Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about – but how could you not come to conclusions with such fabulous imagery?!
THE STORY?-
There isn’t a lot of information on the site. But, I think this lucky woman has some land in North Western California. (It is wet and a bit remote over there, but beautiful…).
Anyway, on this land, it appears that she hosts two of her own Friesian stallions (who are half brothers), and another stallion – for her friend.
All three run in a bachelor herd and are best friends.
Wow. They run free on her property.
Free Friesian Flowing Floatingly.
Growing up healthy, loved and mannered.
Wow!
NICE PICS, EH?
Oh, and the lucky part for us is that she is really, really good with a camera.
So, for this Sunday, I thought we could all OOOOOOOOOOH and AAAAHHHHHHHHHH over these boys.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
SUBSCRIBE TO PLAYHORSE?
I saw the button that asks the reader to subscribe because she ‘adds photos often’…
I smiled to myself. Kinda like something you could slip into your mare barn to get them all riled up.
These boys are so very, very pretty.
Great job, Forest Boyz!
Beautiful horses, kept beautifully and photographed beautifully.

My fav.
