I don’t remember how I found these on ETSY, but I remember stopping in my tracks. This is not a real dog, it is a felt replica made from a photo. Wow! The artist is Anna Ryasnova from Spain.

She makes felted animals to purchase in many sizes… OR, she can take a photo of your animal and create him/her out of felt.

Amazing.

Now, a full sized dog is around $300, but she has darling small animals for $35! This dog and these sheep are small and very inexpensive!

Well, I didn’t actually contact her, so I don’t know how she works her deals… but I have used ETSY sellers internationally several times and have never, ever had an issue.

First off, Anna Ryasnova has been selling on ETSY since 2012 – ETSY would ban anyone who wasn’t forthright (however, being the first one to report it is never good…). And, if you use Pay Pal, you can buy insurance and get your money back without much hassle. Also, many credit cards offer the same service.

So, for me, I would chance it. Her work is amazing! If you’ve just lost an animal, or if you just want to remember your best buddy, this is so great!
