Today, we feel fortunate to be able to cleanup and recover from the holiday.
We did not do any Black Friday shopping. This whole ‘jump on shopping’ thing bothers me.. I think this weekend should be for gathering and reflecting about the season ahead… I felt badly going through the Starbucks like on Thanksgiving Day! For me, I still think businesses should be closed on Thanksgiving – even if you don’t believe in the holiday, at least your employees can gather and give thanks that you let them have a day off. Dunno. That’s just me. (…off my soapbox now.)

Thank you!! I will put his name on the photo!
Very good point!
Yikes! I better put a photo credit on that… I had no idea!
The doggies in the antler knitted caps are Italian Greyhounds!! My Italian Greyhounds don’t have these caps…..yet!! LOL
The bottom pic with 2 horses and 1 rider is Chris Cox. He is a clinician and trainer. He is great!! He lives in Texas!!
I think the last photo is Chris Cox.
About working on Thanksgiving, I have a couple of friends who volunteer to work on holidays so they can make the extra pay. They get either double or triple time on holidays. I think it’s nice that they have that option. Neither of them are forced to work. It’s their choice.
I believe the photo of the man lovingly petting the horse at the end of your blog today is Chris Cox and you could probably find more of the same on his web site. I have seen other photos of him on horseback surrounded by several of his horses and he is petting one like that. He is an excellent trainer and his horses always seem to love him.
