Today I will work and then go pick up Mama Tess!
She is doing much better without the hospital plate. However, the wrapping procedure is more involved because a larger hole has been cut on the top of her hoof. And the wrapping is more challenging because I don’t have the security of the hospital plate covering her sole.
In retrospect, not that I am happy it worked out this way…, but… since MT did go back to the hospital, they were able to find one more pocket of nasty that they needed to open up and drain.
So, that’s good…
HERE WE GO!
UPDATE:
The viral photo is now confirmed to have nothing to do with lightning. As fellow Scientific American blogger Glendon Mellow has uncovered, the original photo appears to come from an artist who specializes in making sandcastles. The viral photo is what happens when you make an interesting castle out of sand, not when lightning hits it.

This is my friend’s mule, Charlie. She loves him so much, she says that when he goes, they’d better bury her in there with him.

You have probably seen this story of the dog who saved her pups – one by one – during the fire… and put them on the truck.

Our February Bucket Fund Foal is Bella who lost her rear leg and is awaiting a prosthetic. The prosthetic maker picked up the mold of Bella’s leg – so she is getting closer!

THANK YOU! I updated the photo!
Hey, thought you and others might like more information about that sand picture.
