Saturday is Phoblog Day!

Today, I will work and then come home to TEAM MAGGOT.

Yup.  I need to change the bandage.

So, the Team will either be in full force … or alive but skinny… or not thriving.

The best would be that they aren’t thriving.  That would mean that all the dead tissue is gone.

If they are alive but skinny, we are almost done.

If they are in full, fat force – then we have more work to do.

The object of the game to that the maggots run out of food.

Crossing fingers.

HERE WE GO

Very cool idea!

In mid-September, 41 neglected horses were seized from one property by the Essex County, NY Sheriff's Department, as the impounding agent. An amazing group of people have been rallying behind them since. Our local Equine Rescue "Crane Mountain Valley Horse Rescue, Inc." is serving as the adopting agent and have found homes for almost all of them, but it's not over yet! Seven horses (4 geldings and 3 mares) are still waiting for their adoptive families. For an application, please e-mail Nancy at horses@cmvhr.org or call 518-962-8512. Adoption fees for these horses have been waived, but funds are now needed to continue their training. Can you help? Every little bit counts and will help guarantee a more successful future for these wonderful animals!
