Today, I will be driving my truck and trailer (fully loaded) to the new house. I hope to catch all of the cats at breakfast and take them, too. I will keep them in the front with me. Oy. I suspect I will have a medley of howling the whole way down. But, once they are moved, then I don’t have to worry about them. Scoutypants will come on the last day.
The horses are being moved early Wednesday morning. The haulers are going to stay over night on Tuesday and then we will all leave early in the morning. Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week (only 97) and if we leave early, we will miss the heavy traffic and the hottest heat. I think this is a good plan.
I will stay with the horses until Saturday. Then I’ll drive the truck back up, hook up the trailer and fill it with the odds and sods that I couldn’t get without Hubby’s help. By next Sunday, we should be all moved. (We told the renters that we wouldn’t be out until the 5th of July. But they wanted IN so we said they could have the house but we were still moving out of the garage and barn until July 5th.)
HERE WE GO!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
