Saturday is PhoBlog day! I’m still trying to figure out a combination word for Photo/Blog/Coffee. Do you have an idea?
OK, onward to our photos! Today, I pulled entirely from the Internet. I didn’t have any good shots from around here.
1) This is a photo from 1901. The inscription says, “Linus, horse with long mane and tail at Pan-American Exposition- Buffalo, N.Y. 1901.
Sold to Frank E. Bostock and taken to England.” Some other internet fan did some research and sadly, this horse broke his hip during his travels and they think he died in 1906 in Australia. I’d sure love to know what kind of genetic mutation (or very careful handling) allowed him to grow such lovely hair. I think I smell a future blog topic brewing…
2) This pic is of a Zorse. They always fascinate me. However, I have heard that any cross between equine and zebra is pretty rank. Hmmmmm, another blog topic brewing…
3) This pic is of a Zule or Zonkey. It is a cross between a donkey and a zebra. I actually like Zule better because it reminds me of something from GHOSTBUSTERS.
4) I thought this was very pretty. It is a butterfly with see-through wings. A great image for Spring!
Enjoy and have a great weekend! Check back tomorrow!

actually, the best type of blog is the photoblog because pictures speak a thousand words “”
i love photo blogs, there is a saying that a picture speaks a thousand words and this saying is also true for blogs that mostly displays photos.
