Today I am going to a local film festival about the history of our county. I know that sounds horribly boring, but I think the GOLD MINING history (and all that comes with that) will be very interesting. Especially to see how the towns were and knowing how they are now.
HERE WE GO!

This was all over the news… this guy made this doggie train for his rescue dogs. LOOK at the expression of the first dog. I love it!

Hmmm. I wonder how that happened?

Well… Now I know what it looks like when you cross a naked neck chicken with a silkie chicken.
From little I know of the Gold Mining Era, it was a very difficult time. Particularly for the donkeys and mules who “belonged” to the miners (some were more like best friends; most, er, were not). Take a deep breath when you get to that part… I think donkeys and mules were the only ones “up for the work” of getting to the mines, so they deserve more credit than they are generally given.
Just my 3 cents’ worth… I LOVE long ears!
