TODAY, I start feeding the horses on my own – which should be interesting since it is a rainy, swampy mess out there. But, I will be very careful! And, it will be so great to see all of their wooly faces. I’m sure they have been wondering what happened to me. They catch glimpses of me inside the house, but they haven’t actually interacted with me in 5 weeks. It is about time I healed!
HERE WE GO!

I was never brave enough to show my horses myself… . This photog was at all of my Morgan shows with my Morgans.

I totally appreciate field art. Except with hay prices out here, that hay tractor is just about as valuable as a real one!
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth... if you like this, please pass it around!

I loved the photos, but the one with the puppies on the beach is the most beautiful
Agreed. I love to listen to them munch.
If you can stand without discomfort for a few minutes, hang out and just listen to the happy munchers. The best, most relaxing, most fulfilling sound in the world IMO. When everyone’s fed with what you yourself have provided for them and they are showing their appreciation by chowing down, that’s the best thing ever.
Good for you for soldiering on. BTW a friend had both hips replaced one by one over a three year period. She trail rides daily now and takes care of her horse, her horse’s buddies (boarders), a cat, often her neighbor’s Aussies, and a very big very old house.
