Yay!
We found a house/horse sitter, the crazy puppy is at a PlayDate Kennel (lots of play time) and Scouty is home, guarding.
We’re off!
FROM PASO ROBLES TO JACKSON, WYOMING!
Since we’ve moved, we have added 6 hours to our annual drive. We can’t do it in a day anymore… so we didn’t. And, we have to take a different route, so the landscape and our stops will be different.
I love adventure!
The first night, we stayed in a tiny, beautiful town in Utah called Milford. Our hotel was $42 a night (I swear!) and it was really nice! Clean, fresh and safe! We were astounded. So, if you are ever anywhere in Utah near Beaver – don’t stay in Beaver… go the extra 30 miles to Milford and stay at the Oak Hill Inn!
OK, back to the adventure!
Well, the trip was lovely, how could it not be?… Such gorgeous country. It was cloudy, sunny, rainy, thunder storming – the whole Mother Nature potpourri.

This was the fabulous hotel we had in Milford, Utah. It was only $42 a night – unfathomable – clean and very appreciated.
OUR ARRIVAL – The R Lazy S!
We’re here! The R Lazy S! (FB) We checked into our regular cabin – you don’t have to check-in anywhere. They just have it ready for you and you drive right up and unpack!
Hubby and I have changed and we’re ready for the first night ‘get to know people’ mixer. Some people have been coming this same week for 35 years!
I found out that I will be riding ‘Petunia’ tomorrow. She’s a new horse to me so this should be fun!

The Oak Tree Inns across America are now on my Favorites list-thanks for the tip.
Hey Honeymooners!! This is great! Hope you take lots of pics and share!
