Imagine a huge, fun, hip warehouse.
Now imagine that huge, fun and hip warehouse filled with tack… AND clothes… AND GEAR!
Oh my gosh, I was about ready to explode!
I could hardly contain my urge for total retail therapy.
WHY DID I GO TO THE RIDING WAREHOUSE?
As you all know, for a few years, RIDING WAREHOUSE (English, Western, Endurance) has donated to the DROP IN THE BUCKET FUND a percentage of all sales that are generated from the Horse and Man website. So, when you click on the Riding Warehouse banner on the right side of the website or on the bottom of the daily email, Riding Warehouse never forgets to send a check to the Bucket Fund.
Nice.
Anyway, The Riding Warehouse just happens to be 40 minutes from the new place.
Hmmmmm, I thought to myself the other day… why not go VISIT! So I inquired and they accepted!

Hopefully you have all noticed this link in the sidebar or bottom of each post. This link benefits the Bucket Fund!
I WHAT I DIDN’T KNOW…
I have always thought of the RIDING WAREHOUSE as a great online source for tack, clothes and gear. I never realized that they also offer to beat any online offer out there. I mean, this is very quality stuff and I just didn’t get it that they also had the lowest prices. OMGosh, I think we all need to have this link on speed dial.

This is from the RW website. I didn’t realize that they offered this… Top notch merchandise at the lowest prices possible. Well, I know it now!
ITEMS I COVETED (well, there were many more but…)

.
ANYWAY, MORE ABOUT MY VISIT… THE RIDING WAREHOUSE IS IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA… I’d go there just to hang out!
So, I got in my car and drove down to San Luis Obispo, not knowing what to expect therefore having no expectations. I just wanted to be able to get myself there and enjoy all the newness of my new adjacent town.
Well, the ride was lovely and non-eventful. (NOT AT ALL the smoggy, crowded, angry, snailpaced commute that has been my previous life…) so I was in a fine mood upon arrival.
Tracy, the founder, met me in their sweet retail outlet and we became immediate old friends. Don’t you love that when it happens?
Anyway, we gabbed and gabbed all about horses and retail and life and building businesses from scratch – which is what she did with the RIDING WAREHOUSE – and I knew right away that there wasn’t a ‘salesy’ bone in her body. She created this business because of her love of riding and her love of offering deals to other people who love to ride.
Rare. Nice.
I wished I had just won the lottery – but in a way, I did. Here I was, surrounded by TACK, watching the hustle, bustle and crush of online ordering/shipping – standing with the brainiac behind it all. Fun!
INSIDER TIP
Did you know that right now, they are offering up to 65% OFF on a ton of great items?! I couldn’t believe it, so I wanted to make sure you see all the majorly discounted items on their site. I wanted new riding boots, socks, riding shirts, half chaps, Western boots, some trailer items, a few gloves… I could go on and on. Lottery me!
Anyway, go to this link and click on the ‘sales’ for either Western, English or Endurance.
Amazing.
ITEMS I GET TO TRY!
After much discussion of all things horse related, Tracy offered items for me to try on my trip to Wyoming in August. Yay! Such an expected BONUS.
–DaBrim helmet brim
–Irideon Cool Down Jersey (lightweight with UPF 50 sun protection)
–RW Hoodie, RW capped sleeve tshirt (my fav style), RW gift bag
–RW chapstick which I have already tried and love – only $.95!!!
I’ll let you know how the experimentation goes!
GO to the RIDING WAREHOUSE WEBSITE AND HAVE FUNNNNNNNN!
