This charming story was inside my mailbox today… I had to share it because I just adore little kids who fight to let their talent shine through – against the bigguns!
Chayni Chamberlain is a 9 year-old girl who is in FIRST position against the big girls going into this Sunday’s barrel racing championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
And… she rides her 14 year-old quarter horse who has been in the family from her Grandmother, Mother and now little Chayni. The whole family honors and totally trusts ‘Flo Joe’.
Here is a video of their story plus her winning run that put her into 1st place going into this weekend!

Great story! I will check it out!
Really? How did she do?… The article I read was dated later….
Amberley Snyder’s story is inspiring as well. She also ran barrels at the American and is paralyzed. Watching her saddle a horse and switch mounts is incredible, much less watching her run with the very best.

Great story, but the event was this past Sunday (March 1).
