You all know that I strongly support Wild Horse Sanctuaries – especially those which have a great business plan, excellent herd/land management and training programs.
If the place is gorgeous too, well… then that is icing on the cake!
Today, I’d like to shine a light on Montgomery Creek Ranch in Northern California. They have a gorgeous 2000 acres, well managed herds/grasslands and a fine training/adoption program.
And the best part?! – They are having an Open House this Saturday! You could go there and see the gorgeous landscape, watch how healthy and cared-for mustangs interact in their family groups, AND look at the young horses and trained horses that are available for adoption!
THEY’RE HAVING AN OPEN HOUSE! SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 12-4
OMGOSH! If my mother wasn’t sick, I would be there in a heartbeat. Truly. Can anyone go for me? Please, please go if you can. Tell me all about your adventure.
From the Website:
Imagine this: you’re surrounded by 2,000 acres of rolling hills blanketed in purple, blue and orange blooms while a herd of 200 wild horses stampedes past you.
Sound like heaven? This could be your reality!
On April 13, 2019, we are hosting A Day at the Ranch a fun-filled day of wild horses, good food, and incredible nature (be sure to bring your camera). We hope you can join us. https://wildhor.se/2UjrqWL
