In Honor of Donkeys everywhere, can we circle the wagons and BARRAGE (kindly) to STOP THIS DONKEY TRIPPING EVENT!

I am passing this onward in its entirety.  Please, if you have time, kindly call/fax all the numbers and email everyone on this list.  Barrage them, kindly.   (Be sure to call the News outlets.)  Tell them how this kind of violence is not good for veterans to watch, not good for the donkeys, not good for the kids who will attend the event, not good for the town’s PR, not good for PTSD sufferers… and probably not how they wish to present themselves to the world…  Remember, be kind.  No one listens to crazy.

This is an inhumane sport that causes trauma and injury to these kind animals. Stop the abuse!

I hate the phone, but have posted it on FB, plus emailed those with addresses. One of the emails bounced back because the box was full. I think that is a good sign?!?
    Thanks for all you do….

Below is what I sent to the three email address’s you provided. Although the Masterguns email is somehow incorrect. My email bounced back as undelivered.

I am writing to you to ask you kindly to stop the Donkey roping event on May 4th.

It is not a very kind thing to do to them. Their anatomy is not built for this kind of activity. I KNOW! I have a donkey I acquired that use to be used for roping and his larynx was injured because he was used for roping! He is the kindest and sweetest guy, but also has trust issued too. He REMEMBERS! All Donkeys REMEMBER!

Just a little something to think about:

The story is told that the donkey that had been Jesus’ mount on Palm Sunday, came to the hill of Calvary.

Seeing the tragic event taking place, he wished with all his heart that he had been able to carry the cross for Jesus, as he was the proper one to carry heavy burdens.

Ashamed of what was happening, the donkey turned his back on the sight, but would not leave for he wished to stay until all was over because of his love for Jesus.

In reward for the loyal and humble love of the little donkey, the Lord cast the shadow of the cross to fall across his back and left it there for the donkey to carry forever more as a sign that the love of God, no matter how humble, carries a reward for all us to see.

Read the real story in the Bible – Luke 19: 28-40 or Numbers 22: 21-33

So PLEASE, STOP The ropings! Donkeys do not deserve this type of treatment that is JUST FOR SPORT!
