TODAY, we have had a special request from the incredibly hard working equine rescue group Least Resistance Training Concepts (LRTC).
THEIR PRESENT (INDUSTRY STANDARD) SLING HAS RECENTLY BEEN FOUND TO HAVE A GLITCH THAT CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTAL DROWNING… and it is Flash Flood Season.
They need a safe water rescue harness… the type that they already own – and is the industry standard – has a glitch and has been reported to caused equine drownings.
LRTC does not want that to occur to them so they are desperate to fund a newly invented equine flotation device (that has been accurately tested) – The Hast Water Rescue Harness during this critical flash flood season.
LRTC responds to 100 equine ER calls a year. They are out there fighting the good fight. The new Hast Water Rescue Harness costs $562 and could potentially save many horses and foals caught in high water.
Can we help them?! Your donation is Tax-Deductible through the Let ’em Run Foundation.
We need just $562! IT WILL ADD UP QUICKLY AND WE CAN DO THIS FOR THEM! EVERY LITTLE BIT WILL REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE HERE.
LRTC IS OUT THERE 100 DAYS A YEAR – RESCUING HORSES AND FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT!
The average age of the on call and trained volunteers is 62.
Yup, retired people who have the time and inclination to go through training and help.
Giving them equipment that is portable, lightweight and easy to use is a smart idea because they will go out there and use it!

LRTC rescuing a horse in high water using their former flotation device which has been known to cause accidental drowning if a horse catches his foot in the net – THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO LRTC however they wish to not have to use this device again.

This is the well-used and well maintained LRTC Rescue Trailer. (The H&M Group funded their sling previously!)
LET’S HELP EASE THEIR MIND AND GET THEM A PROPER SLING FOR THE IMPEDING FLASH FLOOD SEASON!
Thank you!
