A perfect little story for a Sunday with coffee.
When Edgardo, a cattle rancher in Loncopue, Argentina, found a baby condor that had fallen from its nest, he decided to nurse the helpless creature back to health.
He left it food to find, and eventually helped it grow up and fend for itself. The vulture, which Edgardo christened Condorito, eventually went back into the wild after growing to adulthood — but regularly comes back to visit Edgardo.
And when he does, the bird — who’s now quite large — nuzzles the rancher.
