HUBBY AND FUNNY BOOKS!
I love my husband’s laugh. Love it! He has a great smile and an infectious laugh. I often will watch shows he likes, just to watch his face and hear his laugh.
Recently, I purchased two books as gifts for him.
Of course, they were humorous books… I adore feeling the bed jolly around as he tries to squelch his laughter while he reads before he sleeps. I always have to roll over and watch him or ask him to read what he’s reading to me – just so I can watch his face.
These two books have been especially funny for us. Since I’m sure many of you need comic relief at times, I’d like to play the funny forward.
*There is strong language in both books. So, if that upsets you, please do not buy them.
1) “HYPERBOLE AND A HALF...” by Allie Brosh
This book is so unique and clever. It started as a blog and quickly grew to hundreds of thousands of followers because her point of view was so universal yet original.
Because of her success with her blog, she was invited to write a book!
Really, really funny. She draws cartoons of her life and explains as she goes. Very inventive!

OK, David’s humor may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but we laugh out loud while reading his books or his website.
This is the book (click here) I’ve downloaded presently because Hubby adored it.

Oh, I LOVE Allie AND David! They are both hilarious! I knew Allie had a book out but hadn’t seen David’s latest.
I am really glad Allie is finally back on the radar. She has been through a lot, and she had thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of people worried about her. I will probably ask for her book for Christmas, as I’d like to own it, and I’ll get David’s from the library. Thanks for the recommendation!
