I found this story (below)… it involves no animals. But, I thought it was so sweet and moving, I wanted to pass it along.
Babbette’s Seeds of Hope.
The story… a husband worked it out with several neighbors so he could plant 4 miles of sunflower seeds along a highway – in tribute to his wife who passed from cancer. His goal is to sell the seeds and donate a percentage for cancer research.
