THE EQUIVIZOR by Provizor: Have you heard of it?

A while back I was researching blinders and I came upon the Equivizor.

Have you heard of these visors from Germany?  This is the photo that caught my eye in the first place.  I had no idea what this Avenger-like mask was for… but it looked sturdy – I liked that.  Of course, I had to find out more…

Since the photo was linked to the website, I followed the link and found the Equivizor.  This red model is for horses with eye injuries that need protection.  The man in the photo is a vet who is administering to the affected eye.

This is the Equivizor for a horse with an injured eye.

The drop down menu on the website listed these uses….  Hmmm.  Seems very interesting.

Hmmm. Many uses... Interesting.

HEAD/EYE PROTECTION DURING TRANSPORT/surgery/flies/racing/post op…

The site is structured differently than I am used to but that is probably because it was created in Germany…  I had a bit of trouble finding large photos.  Below are the best photos I could capture to explain the uses.

I’m intrigued.  I think these are very interesting and probably work well.  I have no idea of the cost…

They have thought of just about evey use for these visor/helmets. (click to enlarge)

This is the helmet for transportation or any vet procedure that might need head protection - waking up, for example

Here is the eye protection model for everyday wear.

Post Trauma

Hmmmm.  Seems like a very useful product.

If you go to the site, they will give you more information and tell you can purchase it

They also have a canine division.

I loved this idea instead of those crazy Elizabethan collars!!!

I think this one is for eye protection.... Click image to go to the site.

This is the Elizabethan Collar replacement. I like it! - especially for long term use!

They can even make it through the Doggie Door!
