That Tick Spray I forgot to talk about yesterday: RK TOPICAL SPRAY Horses and Dogs! Plus BRIGHT FUTURES FARM and a Summer Itch Buster!

(Bowing my head towards Boston.)

Yup.  Still sick.  Sorry that I forgot what I was writing yesterday and wrapped up before I finished what I had intended to write.  Blame it on the illness.

1)  RK TOPICAL SPRAY

I get newsletters from those wonderful vets at EQUINE MEDICAL AND SURGICAL ASSOCIATES.  They are the ones who make Heiro for Insulin Resistant horses to get back out on grass!

Anyway, I saw this email about the tick spray…

This is the email that made me stand up and pay attention.

This is the email that made me stand up and pay attention.

Being a Lyme Disease sufferer, whenever I hear anything about ticks, my ears perk.  So, the fact that these people I trust who have products that I know work say that  RK TOPICAL SPRAY actually works… well, YOU KNOW I am going to be my own guinea pig!

And so will my dogs and horses…

So, I ordered 4 quarts.

2)  SUMMER ECZEMA ORAL SUPPLEMENT

While ordering the above tick spray, I decided to give this supplement a try as well.

I highlighted it last Spring and several of you readers tried it and LOVED IT!  I heard nothing but rave reviews from horse owners whose horses have been plagued by noseeums and sweet itch and other skin irritants that made the poor horses miserable.

Evidently, this product solved it all!

Since BG has issues with midges and small biting flies, I decided to get some for her.

So,  Summer Eczema Oral Supplement is on its way.

I am trying this as well. Horse owners say this stuff is incredible in solving summer skin issues!

3)  BRIGHT FUTURES FARM

Do you know of this Rescue, Bright Futures Farm,  in PA?

I don’t know much, either.  But, I was sent this email and it made me sad.  I felt compelled to share this.

LIFESAVER! I have been searching for something for my mare that won’t kill my cat! (Permethrin concentrates seem to be the most popular thing but I would rather not have to shower immediately upon returning home so as to not mess with my cat’s nervous system.)

My older mare is allergic to ticks and, therefore, attracts them five times more than my other horse. She gets nasty swollen tumor-looking spots that take days to go away once the offending tick is removed. Thank goodness for this Tick Spray!
