OCCASIONALLY, SUNDAY IS VIDEO DAY! …

BEFORE WE BEGIN:  WE ARE ORDERING BITLESS LG BRIDLES THIS WEEK (FROM GERMANY).  IF YOU WANT ONE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA THIS LINK.  YOU CAN READ TESTIMONIALS THERE FROM THE OTHERS WHO HAVE PURCHASED THIS AMAZING (IMHO) BRIDLE!

Let’s change the subject and have some fun!

1)  This video of animal on trampolines made me smile!

2)  OK, this is ingenious!  I love this dog!  What do you think he is?  Bassett/Beagle.

A Beassett?  A Bagle?  Anyway, very clever boy.

3)  You either love or hate this one… I thought it was hilarious  – especially the people in the background who were cracking up – but others I showed didn’t get it at all.  So, for those of you who will find this funny – this is for you!

Mama Tess is our August Bucket Fund mare... She is doing a bit better today - she nickered at me when I came into the barn and got up to eat. She is bright eyed and insisted that I open the window for her to look out. When she laid back down, I laid with her and swatted flies off her face as she slept. I think she was just pretending to be asleep because as I got up to leave, she went sternum and looked at me, "Where'r ya goin'?" Today I have lots of hope...

OMG they were all hysterical. I used to be owned by a Harlequin Great Dane and I know that Chalene would have been all over that trampoline. Thanks Dawn, Just had to put my 15 yr old chi, Monty to sleep yesterday and I really needed a laugh. These sure did it.

Dawn, I follow your blog religiously and so appreciate all the time, energy, emotional energy and love you put into it. I’ve been praying for You and Mamma Tess and will continue to do so. I have laminitic horses as well. It does help to get them off of their soles right away, as we have learned to do. Albeit, when their at the peak of the crisis, to where we notice it, they are to sore to have corrective shoes put on. We were so lucky with one horse…..She was in dire need and in so much pain, about 2 years ago. Both farrier and vet didn’t diagnose it for two months, us being new to horses, didn’t know what was wrong with her…She was in such pain, to the point of quivering and sweating. I finally brought in a new farrier…didn’t take him about a minute of observing her, diagnosis, a laminitis flare up…Hopefully now sinking or rotation. We put on bute and he came back in a few days to put shoes on her with the hot liquid pour over her souls. She made a recovery. Thank-God. Needless to say, Other farrier and vet have not been back. I wish you all the luck with your precious girl. Sandra
