Within a very short time, we’ve reached our October Bucket Fund goal to help support BHFER (Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue) during this stressful time.  (To read about and donate to the wonderful rescue BHFER and their newfound struggles, click here. )

Yay!!  This is great!

But, as we all know… to really lighten the pressure and ease the load, it would be hugely beneficial for BHFER to find forever home for some of their horses.

Are you that home?  Have you read the BHFER newsletters and stories and fallen in love with a certain individual?  Is a friend looking for a pasture horse, trail buddy or a light riding horse?  Maybe one of your friends needs a friend, simple as that…

Please spread this list far and wide.  It would be wonderful for BHFER to find perfect homes for these well mannered and healthy horses they have nursed  – and loved – for quite some time.

SOME OF THE STORIES!

Timmie and Foxy!  I cannot believe these two are still on the list because they are so adorable!  I remember their stories when they first came to the rescue.  Foxy is absolutely adorable and so is her Momma!  Here are some pics from when Foxy was newly born and newly at BHFER!

—BABY RAY IS AVAILABLE!!  Baby Ray is a story we all remember… he came in blind with cataracts.  Now, he is grown up, gorgeous and training!  What a gorgeous boy!

–SOPHIE IS AVAILABLE!  I am such a sucker for the sweet, older mares… A wise and ‘been there, done that’ addition to any farm!  She came in starved and survived!  Look at her!

–AMBER CREAM:  A young, gaited, well mannered and petite ladies horse!  How often can you find a well mannered, healthy, young gaited horse for adoption?!

–FANCY IS READY TO GO GO GO and GAITED!  She’s ready!  Fancy is a good girl who has been loved and nurtured.

HANDSOME!  A wonderful, youthful riding saddlebred gelding that just needs to be in open paddocks without too many trees due to allergies.  He does fine at BHFER with all the open space!  So handsome and look at his attitude!  A happy boy!

ATHENA – the perfect name for a lovely, teenage  mare who needs a quiet and peaceful home!  She is healthy, just a bit arthritic and cannot be in a large herd situation.

ROMEO!  Handsome and ready to ride!  This fully trained gentleman gelding is the perfect partner for an intermediate rider – to roam the hills together!  BHFER can tell you all about him!

BEAUTIFUL CISCO, MANNERED CANCER SURVIVOR who needs an owner who LOVES TO PAMPER, TREAT, LOVE, MASSAGE, USE HOMEOPATHY AND ANY OTHER LOVING TREATMENTS TO HELP HIM WITH HIS MANAGEABLE NEEDS.  (I know I love to pamper Mama Tess!)  He has navicular controlled by boots.  This boy deserves the home that loves to treat!
