Do you remember our April Bucket Fund filly, Barbara?
You can read her story here.
I’m guessing you remember these photos…
BARBARA HAD TO BE 6 MONTHS OLD BEFORE SHE COULD HAVE SURGERY…
After a few months of training with Alan Pogue, she learned to lead from her neck, load into any type of trailer and stand on any platform – all necessary to recover from wry mouth surgery.
Lucky little filly, Barbara, had her surgery last month… and she is now HOME!
Here are the first photos from her arrival.

She looks like a normal, beautiful filly! Obviously, she looks like she is very healthy, eating and drinking…
SHE CAN EAT AND DRINK… AND IS LEADING A NORMAL LIFE!
Her surgery was performed by Dr. Schumacher from the University of Tennessee.
Amazing.
Please read her story if you know of a wry mouth baby.
Thank you, everyone, who donated and offered thoughts and prayers!
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth... if you like this, please pass it around!

Best wishes from another wry nose foal! In facebook wry nose, vinoturpa Alerion. He was operated last december by Dr Schumacher and dr Palle Brink.
Her surgery was performed by Dr. Schumacher from the University of Tennessee.
She has a wonderful outcome, better than my half Arabian gelding. Who did the surgery? I have a friend who has a beautiful Arabian filly that is going to have the surgery on her wry nose. Mine was done at UC Davis.
