UPDATE ON PEGASUS and our his Bucket Fund Donation Receipt!

Our August Bucket Fund Horse, Pegasus, was found wandering the streets, malnourished and missing his tail.

You can read his story here.

This is the least graphic photo I could find…

Well… HE IS DOING MUCH BETTER!

Although his tail is healing very slowly… which is normal due to how active horses are with their tails… he’s gained weight and is a gleaming, happy camper!

Here is an update from Illinois Horse Rescue of Will County:

Hello!
Pegasus is doing great! He is putting some weight on and we are hoping to have him at a health weight by the next couple months. His tail is very slowly healing but is healing! He has one of the best personalities we have seen in a long time! He is not a huge fan of other horses but doesn’t mind the rescue alpacas. Thank you so much for fundraising for him!
Thank you!

I did ask for a closeup of his healing tail and will post it when it arrives.
