SPA DAY FOR MISSY MISS AND MO!

I now have panels in the pen with Annie, MIssy Miss and Mo… so I can separate them when needed. (Annie can be pushy.) Here they are, standing in the shade hanging around me and my grooming bucket.

I started brushing Missy Miss just as the wind was kicking up.

She likes to get in really close. That’s me in her eyeball.

Kinda hard to groom her when a persistent donkey is in the mix.

He likes to be right in the thick of things.

My little helper?

Missy Miss LOVES the fragrance of Equi-Spa Fairy Tales. She tried to eat the bottle.

Her beautiful mane. Missy Miss is such a California Mustang… that sunkissed mane and forelock are all natural. That is how it grows.  Dark at the root, sunny at the tip.

Mo continued to watch me as I brushed Missy Miss.

He is such a good WatchDonkey. Every few minutes, he would leave for his Sentinel duties.

But then it was Mo’s turn! Look how white he is on the underside! He has a snowy winter coat! I wonder about the two whorls under his neck. Do they have a meaning?

Look at his glorious mane! Donkeys don’t have much of a mane/forelock, but Mo’s is brown! He is reverse Flaxen! I swear, whoever created desert donkeys had a lot of fun with color!

Missy Miss was not too happy that I switched over to Mo. She still wanted more love. I’m so happy to see Mo’s coat coming in much healthier this year. Good food, good coat.

THANK YOU, EQUI-SPA, FOR CREATING FAIRY TALES!

DECEMBER BUCKET FUND Here is a story of pregnant mare, Swift, who was captured while pregnant… and her baby “T” who was born in a barren and sad BLM holding facility.  Thank you, Skydog, for giving them their wild lives back – and for giving them a forever free life.  Please donate today and I’ll send all the funds to SkyDog Sanctuary!  Let’s give back!  THANK YOU!
