RACEHORSE MARE ‘DOWNTOWN HOTTIE’, DUMPS JOCKEY AND WINS BELMONT!

BEFORE WE BEGIN:  WE ARE ORDERING BITLESS LG BRIDLES THIS WEEK (FROM GERMANY).  IF YOU WANT ONE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA THIS LINK.  YOU CAN READ TESTIMONIALS THERE FROM THE OTHERS WHO HAVE PURCHASED THIS AMAZING (IMHO) BRIDLE!

INSPIRATION FOR YOUR MONDAY!

Some of you have probably already seen this video of Downtown Hottie from Belmont on June 26th.  It has made the rounds…

However, I’d like to comment on, perhaps, the obvious…

What I am about to say is totally my opinion.

First off, I’m a racing fan of mixed emotions.  I don’t like the underworld and foul play that is associated with racing – at the expense of the horses.

I do like to root for the horses who love to run.

This is exactly why I am showing you this video today…

I loved everything about Downtown Hottie in this race.

My points:

–Clearly, she knew how to maneuver to win, without her rider.

–Clearly, she loves to run

–Clearly, she decided to win on her own accord without any spurring from her jockey. (Yes, she was at an advantage by not having the extra weight…).

TAKE A LOOK AND ENJOY!

HERE IS ANOTHER ONE… A GELDING NAMED (aptly) COUNTER MOVE

Click here to watch this video of Counter Move.  He doesn’t quite win, but he figures out how to get in front and lead the way until the very end.  He quit just before the finish!  I guess he knew from practice just about when to quit but got it a bit short…

The gelding, Counter Move, figures his way to the front of the pack - sans rider.
