NEW HORSES at the Grass Valley House!!

So, as you know, I spent a  majority of the last 45 days, fixing up the Grass Valley house and finding a new renter.

Yay!   We have a new renter!

I’m so crossing my fingers that this experience will be better than our last experience.  All that “looking good on paper” stuff sure didn’t help us in the end.

This time, I took a leap of faith and accepted the people who came in the day after I begged the universe to send to us a third option (because I wasn’t comfortable with either of the first two applicants ‘who looked good on paper’ but I didn’t feel right about them…).

This couple wanted to move out of the snow of Truckee and closer to her work in Sacramento.  She is a small animal vet and he is an attorney (I don’t know which kind).  They have no kids, only horses, dogs and a cat… kinda like us.

I just want someone to love the place like we do… and for some lucky horses to have those beautiful, shaded paddocks!  So here’s to hope and happiness!  Crossing fingers!

YESTERDAY, HE SENT PHOTOS OF THEIR HORSES IN THE FRONT PASTURE.

His caption was:  The whole gang is in heaven here.  The horses seem settled in all right… two quarter horses and an OTTB.

SIGH.  SO FAR, SO GOOD.

HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth... if you like this, please pass it around!

Wow, the green pasture is a tribute to all the work you did on the Grass Valley property. The love shows!
