WHAT WE ALL NEED THIS SEASON! My FAVORITE fly mask! (no affiliation) MANNA PRO INSECT SHIELD REPELLENT GEAR from OPTI-FORCE

I spend a lot of time with fly masks around here.

Not only is it is a cow area, but it is HOT.  So, we have flies.

I have 9 horses here and they are all different.  Truthfully, not every flymask is made for every horse head.  For sure, the donkeys us a totally differently shaped flymask…

But, my favorite all around fly mask is the Manna Pro Insect Shield Repellent Gear from Opti-Force.  Make sure to get his exact model because their old model didn’t fit as well as this one.  The box looks like this:

MAKE SURE to get this model. The others models are not as good of a fit.

IT HAS GREAT FEATURES!

I purchased this mask in a tiny size for Dodger.  We loved it!  First of all, Dodger has to wear his most of the time, so I wanted a lighter mesh over the eyes – AND A SECURE FIT.  This has both.  I also wanted enough hole space for his copious forelock.  Check.  Dodger is a Houdini so I needed a secure velcro strap. Check Check.  Since he is older and tends to have eye issues, I wanted plenty of clearance around the eyes.  Check Check Check.  Bonus, it has a reflective strip on the nose so I can see him at night!

I love every one of these qualities.

IT FITS MOST OF MY HORSES!

I found mine at Tractor Supply.  But they always run out.  So far, I’ve purchased 4.  Everyone has worn it except Annie (I need to find a HUGE size) and the donkeys.  Everyone else fit perfectly.

Here is Finn.  He loves his mask because he hates flies.  Finn practically puts his head into it as soon as I hold it up!

As you can see, it fits well, has good velcro, the mash is lighter around the eyes, it has eye darts and there are enough space for his hair.  Also, it fits snug at the nose.

He is mad at me because I kept bugging him while he was trying to eat dinner.

BONUS!

Every box I’ve purchased at Tractor Supply had an instant $4 off coupon.  So maybe your Tractor Supply has those, too!
