I’m a lousy cook… but I can follow instructions.
The instructions to make horsicles were really easy.
Basically, cut up the fruit they like and put it in water. Put that in the freezer.
Easy.
I will add to that…
–If you use papercups, you can cut them off of your frozen treat.
–Apples float, melons sink.
MY HORSICLE PHOTOJOURNAL!

Once they were frozen, they wouldn’t slide out easily – and it was so hot, I didn’t want to run hot water on them and make them melt any faster – so I cut them open with a hay bale twine cutter. Easy.

This is Dodger LOVING his horsicle. Norma is checking him out in the background. Dodger bit the middle and sucked out the fruit first. Smart boy.

Norma flung her bucket into the mud (from her waterer) first… then I hung it back up and she licked hers very carefully.

Annie is on the left and Gwen is circling on the right. They got theirs first, before I grabbed my camera. Hence… they are eyeing me like vultures. THEY WOLFED THEM DOWN. (It was around 104 degrees out there.)
EASY TO MAKE, GET CREATIVE!! A GREAT WAY TO USE UP YOUR FRUIT!
