(FINN WANTED TO TELL YOU ABOUT OUR RIDE from his point of view. So, I let him. You can read my original post here.)
Today Little Human and I went for a ride to get berries! Yay!
Now, as many of you know, the Little Human has been sick with something. She hasn’t smelled right for a long time. And, she’s a bit wobbly. We felt sorry for her – except for Rojo who wondered if he could take advantage of her weakness and commandeer the entire ranch… we reminded Rojo that we weren’t ‘in the wild’ (he always talks about his ‘wild days’… yawn) and we needed the Little Human to feed us. He relented.
Anyway, because of her sickness, it has been a long time since the Little Human has taken me to get berries. However recently, we’ve heard her talking about riding us more. She’s even started washing the trailer and cleaning our tack! That made us all very excited!
As for me, I don’t mind if she doesn’t ride me often. In fact, twice a week would be fine. You see, I’m rather busy with my job of eating. After all, I am the Boss of My Pasture and that gives me the right to eat it all.
…but, there is food in the trailer, so I might have to rethink this…
Anyway, Little Human felt good enough to go get berries today and that is the BEST KIND of eating!
So I eagerly volunteered.
You obviously feel about horses as I do. Come visit me. You can also see me and my horse, Aristotle by going to http://www.dakinetalk.blogspot.com. I think you’ll find Kauai interesting. I’m sure you’ve hear of Scott Sims, the Aloha Vet. I’ll visit often. Bettejo Dux
Great info! I will attach it to the comment section for yesterday’s blog. Thank you!
Great story today about your berry picking adventure from Finn’s point of view. I enjoyed your humor.
Thanks for a happy start to my day.
