INMATE TRAINED, SADDLE STARTED MUSTANGS – INCLUDING MARES! (BLM housed mares are not often trained, so this is a wonderful opportunity!)

I received an email from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Wild Horse Program.

THE SACRAMENTO SHERIFF’S WILD HORSE PROGRAM IS DOING VERY WELL!

I first met Sergeant Eubanks at the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento last year.  They had a little booth full of enthusiasm!   Her department was totally motivated to have a successful Inmate/Wild Mustang training program  And so far, so good!

THIS YEAR, THEY ARE SHOWING THEIR 5 TRAINED MUSTANGS AT THE WESTERN STATED HORSE EXPO AT THE SACRAMENTO EXPO CENTER!

I have gone to the Western States Horse Expo for the last 10 years.  I loved it!  This year, I won’t be going because I don’t live there anymore… but maybe you can!

THE HORSES!

I know that it is rare to see a inmate trained mare.  This adoption has 2 mares!!!  I guess you already all know how much I respect the mind and the heart of the mustang.  If you have the resources, get one.  Mustangs are amazing – very different (in a good way) from domesticated horses.
