Today I rode Dalton – because he got into the trailer alone!  This is huge for him.

We’ve been working on trailer loading alone for a week or so.  Dalton has always been funny about loading.  He doesn’t like it.  I’m guessing that being trucked from South Dakota where he was separated from his entire family – associated trailers with bad things.

Even when he was with Gillian, he didn’t load well unless there was another horse.

So, being here, with my (much smaller) trailer, Dalton was not too keen to get in.

But, he did!

So we went riding.
