An UPDATE on January’s Bucket Fund mare, ARACELY!

Last month, we helped a 15 year-old Paso Fino mare, Aracely,  who had a horrid face infection that threatened her eye and was very invasive.

If you missed Aracely’s story, you can read it here.

You probably remember her photos…

When she arrived at the rescue…

After the first treatment. You can see her swollen eye.

ARACELY FOUND A HOME IN CALIFORNIA!

The great news is that Aracely found a home in California (she was in Texas!).  And even better news, she has a new best friend!  Aracely makes friends easily and loves other horses.

Her new owner is dedicated to treating the wound daily until it heals beautifully.

I love it when horrible stories have such happy endings!

Aracely made it safely to her new home in California. She immediately greeted her new owner and was very friendly! (Her eye looks much better.)

The best part! Her new best friend!
