All my horses have proper names. Some of them are even registered names… but I never use those names.
You?
All my horses know their “Mommy names” – which really only slightly resemble their real names.
I’ll show you…
HERE WE GO

This is “Flaire’s Gwendolyn”. She comes to ‘GenGen’.

This is “Bad News Little Bit” or “Beautiful Girl”. She comes to ‘Sweetie’.

This is “Mr. Wrigley” – my last Morgan baby via Mama Tess. He comes to ‘Baby’ or ‘Biggee’.

This is Finn with the farrier’s son… His registered name is “Bad News Generation”. He comes to “PinnyPinPin”

Here we have two adoptees “Rustique” and “Taylor” (with Mr. Wrigley). She responds to ‘Missy Miss’ and Mo is ‘Mo’ or ‘MOMO’ (the donkey).

When I adopted Norma Jean, her name was “Betty Lou”. She comes to ‘Norm’. The Pony was named “One-eyed Jack” and I renamed him “Rocky Balboa Pony”. He comes to ‘Pon’ or ‘Pony’.

These two new adoptees… One was “Old Lady” and the other was “Shaggy Ears Baby” – (There were a lot of donkeys that they had rescued…). Now they are named “Ethel Merdonk” and “Princess Buttercup Pebbles”. They come to ‘Mama’ and ‘Cutie/Sweetie’.

These two… I named rescue horse “Annie”. I call her ‘Annie bananny’. Dalton came with his name. I call him “Mr. Manzie”.

And this guy… his real name is “Natty Bumpbo”. But we call him ‘Stinky’ – and he still loves us.
NEW BUTTON. DIFFERENT FUND. LET’S DO THIS!
FUND TOTAL AS OF TODAY: $340
I’m no genius. Just an average girl who has a passion to save horses in need. This is my idea going forward. If we have a constant fund going daily… we will have funds to give to those on the ground who are saving these horses in real time at the killing auctions.
Horse and Man Foundation, Inc has a new Fund button. KEEP THEM OFF THE TRUCK FUND. This fund will go on all day, all the time. It will always be here. If you want to save a horse from slaughter, you know we will do that here.
All donations are 100% tax deductible!

Oh yes, I get this! I once had a TB filly registered as “Bedford Hills Star”. Her name evolved from “Hilly” to “Billy”or “ Bill” and ended up at “Hillbilly”.
