A visit with Dalton and Annie!

Lorelei drove up from Westlake Village (Southern CA) and I drove down from Paso Robles to meet our horses in Arroyo Grande.  2 hours and 15 minutes for her.  I hour and 20 minutes for me.

Unfortunately, the day we picked, Gillian had to be in Southern CA visiting her Dad!

But, we went anyway… we figured we could chat and groom and walk and talk…  which we did.  It was lovely and the horses just walked along, listening.

Gillian has been ponying Annie behind Dalton on trailrides.  I’ve attached a few photos of that, too!

HERE WE GO!

Lor and Annie, reunited at Gillian’s.  (Yes, the farrier is coming!)

Dalton gets to run with the yearlings all day. Here he is, pushing them around the vast acreage…

Gillian was on Dalton, ponying Annie..

Dalton, up close and personal, as always!

Annie on another trail ride behind Gilian’s Arab mare.

MIchael Johnson gifted us with his newest book, “The Story of Blue, A Rope Horse” to benefit the Keep Them off of the Truck Bucket Fund!  Isn’t that wonderful?!  I read an advanced copy and smiled the entire way though (the story is mostly told through the horse’s point of view, which I loved).

This is one of those books that you’re sad when it ends…

The book retails for $29.99, but if you purchase here, FREE SHIPPING!

NEW BUTTON. DIFFERENT FUND. LET’S DO THIS!

FUND TOTAL AS OF TODAY:  $1020  (Thank you!)

I’m no genius. Just an average girl who has a passion to save horses in need. This is my idea going forward. If we have a constant fund going daily… we will have funds to give to those on the ground who are saving these horses in real time at the killing auctions.

Horse and Man Foundation, Inc has a new Fund button. KEEP THEM OFF THE TRUCK FUND. This fund will go on all day, all the time. It will always be here. If you want to save a horse from slaughter, you know we will do that here.

All donations are 100% tax deductible!
