OMG! Respi-Free Works! And an Update on our Junkyard 4.

I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW FAST THE RESPI-FREE  WORKED!! (NO AFFILIATION)

If you are new to the blog or missed the previous post about my ‘testing’ several products from Omega Alpha, here is the link. Basically, since I was so happy with their Anti-Flam product (Love it – easier on the stomach than Banamine and it WORKS!), they sent an assortment of their products for me to try.

Last Saturday, I started my trials.

–Tess is on Sinew-X for her joints and ligaments

–Norma is on Adren-FX to help her with her (ahem) weight and glucose intolerance

–Remi is on Biotic 8 because I think she has stomach issues

–Slick is on Respi-Free for his allergies and snorfelling.

RESULTS WITH RESPI-FREE ALREADY!

OMG!  It stopped Slick’s constant freight train like wheezing when he ate!  Slick has had breathing problems due to food allergies for 15 years!  The Respi-Free opened his airways and he sounded normal when he ate for the first time – ever.

I could not believe it.  I truly could not believe it since the product is all natural – so I decided to ask the rep.  I needed to hear from her that this type of instantaneous recovery is normal or frequent.

Her name is Patti.  I emailed my results to her and my query as to HOW COULD THIS BE?!

It works!

SO I ASKED THE REP IF THIS COULD POSSIBLE BE TRUE?! CAN IT POSSIBLY WORK IN TWO DAYS?

Here is what she said:

“Hi Dawn, RespiFree and Airwaves work almost Instantly simply because they open the bronchial as you give it by the dosing syringe.?Some people want to top dress it and then the effect isn’t as good.?So glad it is helping!?RespiFree is a 3 in 1 formula that contains Airwaves,Lung Flush and Herba Coff all together. (I take it quite regularly and I take the Lung Flush daily.   It keeps my Lungs clear and my respirologist amazed!)  The only thing about RespiFree for long-term use is the Menthol content – so if a horse has a sensitive stomach then it might aggravate the stomach a bit.   In long-term use cases I will tell people to give some Gastra-fx before giving the RespiFree or Airwaves. P”

THE DOSAGE

Slick is a tiny Shetland, so I gave him half of the lowest loading dose, twice a day via syringe.

He didn’t like the taste but he let me give it to him.

You are NOT supposed to put it on their food or it doesn’t work as well.  It has to be by syringe.  Anyway, I did that before his morning and evening meals.  Actually, I let him have a few bites of his hay before I gave it to him – just in case it was hard on the tummy.

By the third day, I heard NO NOISE when he ate.  Hmmmmm, I wasn’t going to be fooled so I kept him on the loading dose and waited two more days to write about it (You are supposed to load for a week then only once a day).

For the last five days, Slick has had no issues with his food allergies/breathing while he has been eating.  This is unheardof!

And, it was really very quick to work!  Only three days!  So, I highly recommend Respi-Free if your horse has any breathing issues that are like Slick.

THE BROCHURE SAYS IT IS FORMULATED FOR THESE SYMPTOMS/NEEDS

Respi-Free can be used as a first line treatment for breathing problems.  Respi-Free uses a 3 in 1 combination product containing Airwaves, Lung Flush and Herba Coff.  Also beneficial for horses that compete on synthetic surfaces which may contribute to respiratory problems.

–Loosens Pheglm

–Bronchiodilator

–Stimulating blood flow in lung capillaries will help remove stagnant toxins from the lund into the general circulation where it can be diluted. detoxified and eliminated

–Used to maintain normal health to respiratory tract

–Used to treat respiratory conditions, especially infections of the upper respiratory tract.  Helps support the lungs and aids in drainage.

–Stimulates the activity of the lung macrophages, thus helping to clear and drain cellular debris trapped in the lung tissue

–Anti-bacterial agent

–Stimulates the opening of the airways (bronchioles)

–Relieves bonchiospasms, clears mucus and aids breathing

–Anti-histamine action, helps alleviate allergic symptoms

HOW TO GET IT

The Omega Alpha company is in Canada.  But, Big D carries their products.  When I called Big D today to make sure I had the correct link for you guys, the sales person couldn’t stop talking about the Omega Alpha products.

She said, “They are incredible products and just fly out of here!”

So, I’m not the only one.

Here is the link to purchase Respi-Free.

Here is the link to Anti-Flam, another personal favorite!

I HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOUR HORSE AS WELL AS IT DID FOR SLICK!

I CAN BREATHE!! (The mare noseying over the fence is Remi.)

AN UPDATE ON THE JUNKYARD 4!

FAITH

Well, the good news is that Faith, the pregnant Percheron, has been wormed safely, she has had her teeth checked and her feet trimmed.  Her bloodwork came back fine and she’s gaining weight.

So, although her coat is still very nasty, the vets think she has enough time to hopefully feed herself and the baby before it is born.  With luck, the foal will not have any damage for lack of nutrition to Momma.

They say Faith is a real sweetie and probably around 7 years old.

This is Faith. Luckily, she has time to heal before her baby is born. Her coat is still nasty but she is a sweetie!

GLORY

The very ‘ready to pop’ mini mare, Glory, is holding her own.  She seems OK other than having a huge baby to deliver!  She is gaining weight since they pulled Tucker off of her.  They say she is a real darling little girl and she appears to be around 8 years old.

She looks cute with her bath and braided tail!

The very pregnant, skinny little Glory

RED AND TUCKER

The bad news is still Red and Tucker…  Both have very compromised immune systems and some weakness in their internal organs.

The vets are treating them in every way possible.  Everyone is hoping it isn’t full blown colitis.  Usually, that is fatal.  But, these boys are hanging in there.

Red hasn't much energy but he is a bit better

Right now, Tucker is worse than Red.  Tucker’s gums and tongue are pale.  He needs a boost and to get better.

They both are very lethargic but they are still eating, drinking and you know whating.

Tucker, the baby weanling/yearling, is the worst of all

Remember, this is the water source they had while they were starving…

If you would like to help with their rising vet bills, please click here to donate to the Bucket Fund in their honor this month!

This is what they had to drink before their rescue... no wonder they are sick

I use natural and homeopathics all the time..too bad the “general” public hasn’t figured out how fast and safe they are (for humans as well as animals)
I use homeopathic bacterial or viral drops in the chickens water when the first sign of illness comes up and they are back to normal in a day…(and laying)
Glad they are helping the horses…

That guy sounds like a real idiot…you hate to go so far as to saying people need licenses for owning animals but some people REALLY shouldn’t be allow to have them…

Peg: The guy had water in tubs but the tubs were too tall for the minis to reach. So, he dug trenches and filled them with water- that was his idea. Those trenches were fairly new when the horses were rescued. So, we hope that the water wasn’t horrible for long and that the little ones were drinking rainwater that had caught in all the junk that was around the place.
And you are right, they have no idea who bred whom. But Indy, who died last week, was a skinny pinto stud…

I wonder how long that idiot had had those horses…. If for longer than a few months, they should have been dead with that water source. What I’m getting at, the stallion in the pen could not be the sire of the mini foal-some even bigger idiot could have bred her to a full sized horse! And for sure that mini stallion didn’t breed Faith! So there may be more supprises ahead.
