I almost didn’t write about these boots… and I’ll tell you why.

When they arrived, I was excited because my old Muck boots had a leak – ugh.  So new muck boots were a huge boost to my morning rituals – those of you who feed in the mud during the winter know exactly what I mean…

Anyway, I slipped on my new Noble Equine Outfitter Muds… and my foot hit the cush with a soft, muted Ahhhhh sound.

Good start.

I noted that the toes had room but they weren’t floating in open space that could get cold.  My ankles felt support , the soles felt thick and soft, the calf was snug but not too tight and the tops tapered under my knee.  I also smiled when I ssw the purple liner fabric – just because it was purple.  I likes that.

Hmmmm, this was good, I thought.

I had no worries that this boot would get sucked off my foot in the mud – the worst!

THEN…

I did my chores in my new boots and loved the comfort, warmth and security… but, I had one issue…

The heel of my sock kept pulling down.

So, the next day, I wore different socks.  I did this for 7 days.  Every day, no matter what sock I wore, the heel came down.

Well, I wrote to the company and told them that I loved the boots, but that ‘heel thing’ wasn’t good and I didn’t feel comfortable writing about them.

They understood and were very gracious.

But, since I didn’t have other boots, and I basically really liked these boots – except for the one issue – I kept wearing them.

And then…

I put them on and they fit like a cushioned GLOVE! i loved them! Snug in the right places and very secure yet cushy!

BUT I KEPT WEARING THE BOOTS – EVERY DAY (and I looooove them!)

Since I had no other boots and I loved everything else about my new boots, I kept wearing them…

And do you know what?  In about another week, they broke in and I no longer have any sock slippage.  They fixed themselves!  And I love them!  They are now like work slippers!!  Every single day I wear them, whether there is mud or not!

I swear!  If you need mucks, get these.  Just know you might have a week or so of a break-in period.  After that, they are HEAVEN.

Isn’t the purple inside liner fun?!  They makes me smile every day!

You could not get these away from me. I wear them every day - not just in the mud, every single day. I love them! They are like slippers for chores!

IF YOU ARE IN THE  MARKET, GET THESE ‘MUDS’.  BETTER THAN THE STANDARD MUCKS, FOR SURE!  Like slippers for chores!

You can read about them here.

I highly recommend the Noble Equine Outfitter Muds.  I love mine.  LOVE THEM!  So, so very comfy and secure.
