I’m still pretty sick so I am taking it easy today … writing simple updates.
1) SKODE’S RESPONSE TO OUR ONE-DAY BUCKET FUND AFTER HER DEVASTATING FIRE
Here is Lori from Skode’s response when she received her funds from you all via Pay Pal (just replace her use of my name with YOURS since you were the ones who gave…):

Lori’s email to us.

Our receipt.
2) EQUINE COLIC RELIEF
A few of you wrote to me asking if it was safe to purchase from the ECR website because the email to pay via the website Pay Pal link was: zebecash@hotmail.com.
Yes, it is safe – the ECR website is where I bought my Equine Colic Relief.
But, I agreed with you readers… Odd name for a business payment account.
So I emailed the Equine Colic Relief owner, told her your concerns and asked why that moniker for her email address?
This was her response:
Could I post on your blog about my email address. This is actually the name of a horse I had when I first started doing emails. A great big sorrel gentle giant of a horse. Being new to the internet way back then I did not want to use my name so I used his Zebecash Two.
(However,) I do have an email with ECR. It is billie@EquineColicReliefUSA.com and I changed my PayPal account so it reflects this email which I hope makes horse people whom see it feel more comfortable.
I had to use ECR on my own gelding, Junior, this winter, he was totally over his bout of colic in about an hour and half. ECR work in harmony with the horses body, so it does not cause any extra stress on an already stressed horse due to the colic.
Thank you for your great blog.
Billie
3) WING NUT
OK, we all know about the wingnut who shot his horse on video and put it on You Tube to get back at animal rights activists.
People across the nation were outraged and demanded that something be done with this idiot.
Here is what the Judge decreed (thank you, kind reader, for sending this in).

4) MORE SAD NEWS… BOB HUBBARD PASSED AWAY
I don’t know about you, but when I was showing my Morgans, I used Bob Hubbard to transport my horses – exclusively. At that time, he was the best and I think his company has held up very well over the years with all the new competition.
Reliable, smart, friendly, family owned, family run and always very good to me.
I was saddened to read this on a friend’s FB page:

Thank you, Bob… you were very good to me and my horses over the years.

Greener Pastures, Bob Hubbard. Thank you for taking such extreme care of my show horses for all of those years. I felt safe as soon as they loaded.
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth… if you like this, please pass it around!
