A reader, who happens to be a jumper, sent 2 phone Apps to me…
Course Walk and Jump Fence Heights.
Now, if you are a jumper, these probably make sense to you. For me, I have no idea.
But, it got me thinking about Horse Phone Apps. How many are out there??
And, are there Apps for all disciplines?
So, I went hunting…
HORSE APPS AVAILABLE
So I started to dig and found on the Behoofed website, a list of Horse Apps.
I clicked on a bunch and liked some… I tried to find those with good reviews and it seems like the medical apps had the best reviews.
I really like the idea of using my phone while I’m sitting on the horse, training. Much easier than a spiral notebook. To be honest, I usually train by feel. But, there are lots of exercises that I have not learned or have forgotten that I’ve learned.
So, to have a lesson book at my fingertips might be a good thing.
Now, if I only had cell reception in my arena…
ANYWAY, I saw this app and I liked the overhead views. However, there were several different training apps for all disciplines and many seemed useful.
ANATOMY AND MEDICINE
These were some of my favorites… I have a keen interest in function and form, as well as how to cure.
I thought there were so many good apps for people who follow sporting events..
GAMES AND FUN!
This one looked like so much fun, I think I might get it. The reviews made it sound very grown up and difficult, even though the animation is childlike.
We could all use these…
Almost all of the equine magazines are on Phones… I would rather read them on something larger, myself… but… here are some…
That was fun!
HORSE AND MAN is a blog in growth… if you like this, please pass it around!
What is the acupressure app called??? When I click on it it keeps telling me the page is not available..
Are ANY of these apps compatible with anything other than APPLE Products? Perhaps some apps that would work on a Android?
