2) Next up is this series of photos of Gabe the Wonder Horse and his pony buddy, Topper, trying to get the carrots out of the homemade toy… You can read about them here.

Saturday is Pho-blog Day! A Snowy Horsey Roll, A Baby Wombat and Bugs You Won’t Believe!

1) This is a picture of my friend’s deaf horse. He was rolling in the snow and then just stopped in this position. Have you ever seen such a thing? I thought it was hilarious!

2) This is a baby wombat. It was rescued from it’s dying mother and is being raised in Australia. It looks like it is waving.

3) These photos are so incredible, I just had to post them. This genius photographer, Thomas Shahan, has figured out a way to photograph real bugs. These are flies and spiders. Incredible. Now we can appreciate these little insects a bit more when we see how gorgeous they really are! Here is his website to see more. i think he should make a coffee table book. What a conversation piece, eh?! The fifth one is a male striped HORSE FLY! I just think these shots are amazing!
