I could not let these 3 babies and 2 Moms (one Mom had already shipped…) end up in the kill pen. There was very little time left before these would be sold – and potentially separated from their mothers… I couldn’t stand it.
So I pulled the trigger and helped LIFESAVERS when they sounded the alarm.
Stay tuned for updates as we get to know all these kids and what they’re future holds for them.

THE STORY FROM LIFESAVERS AFTER THEIR ARRIVAL!
From Lifesavers:
“This group of mares and foals are not gentle enough to handle. They don’t even halter and lead. And as you can see thee are some medical issues that need to be addressed immediately. Our crew at the ranch, Cheyenne and Adam, know exactly how to help these horses and they already have a plan. As with any feedlot or auction rescue you never really know what you are getting and we always expect issues. I mean, after all, someone threw these horses away for some kind of a reason. But, we are not those kind of people and you know they are safe now and will get the best care we can give them. I am so grateful for the support we received for this nearly impossible mission. However… Mission Accomplished! Stay tuned for updates as we get to know all these kids and what they’re future holds for them.”

THANK YOU ALL!!
