UPDATE on our February Bucket Fund survivor – and our last day to help!

We had two foals when we started the February Bucket Fund.  Sadly, almost immediately we lost the other colt who came in with Yarrow – we were just too late.

You can read the original story here.

Today is the last day to give support to Yarrow!

UPDATE

Today I received the final video of little Yarrow sent to me from 3 Sisters Equine Refuge.

This should warm your heart a bit.  She isn’t out of the woods, but she is much, much better.  Her eyes are bright, and that means a lot!

Here are photos of her progression from starvation these past few weeks.

Her colt friend didn’t make it, but she was fighting.

Several times she crashed.

Barely standing.

Outside! Sun helps.

She is still very skinny under all of that hair.

Here she was walking (with encouragement) last week…

and a pic from yesterday of her ROLLING IN HER STALL. Amazing.

From Death’s door to rolling in her stall! AMAZING. Thank you all!

GREAT JOB, EVERYONE!
