Today I received an update on Eddy! He is with his new trainer and is doing well! So far, so good. He is settled and allowing the trainer to touch him.
ISN’T HE GORGEOUS?!
If you missed his original story, click here. Eddy was gathered as an elder mustang – and considered mostly worthless by the BLM because of his age. Luckily, this glorious wild horse, who lived successfully for 20 years, will not be stuck in the BLM holding pens (or worse…). He will have a chance at a loving, forever home because he is now in school to learn the human way. Thank you to all who have supported Eddy this month!
All donations are 100% tax deductible! Thank you!!!
(Big Eddy will be looking for a suitable, loving home in the Oregon area, as soon as he is ready. Contact Mustangs To The Rescue: 541-330-8943, info@MustangstotheRescue.org).

Yes… that injury was what brought Eddy to our attention! He needed to be gentled to be treated – or be treated using the facilities at Skydog – which is what happened. Eddy has healed enough to leave Skydog’s facility with the chute to go into gentling training.
What’s up with Eddy’s right front leg? It looks injured. He ok?
