Well, our girl is still in the hospital…
Here is the update from Katia of Wild for Life Foundation:
She is still in the vet hospital as you can see by the blanket, which they take off everyday to check her body weight, etc. She is getting stronger and now can help with the vet’s efforts to get her up and lay her down through out the day and night. Yesterday after getting up she actually did a little 3 step run with a little kick. She has a good appetite and she has a very strong will to live.
We’re hoping that she will soon be able to get up and lay down on her own, and when she can, she will get to come home!
Today is the last day to help her through the Bucket Fund.
Morning StarGlow was one of the 15 sucklings ripped from their wild mothers after they were driven into catchpens. The mothers took the long, horrible ride. The babies sat on a feedlot – starving and terrified – waiting to go to their fate… until they were rescued by Wild for Life Foundation. These babies are very sickly… three passed. One is in the hospital. The other 11 are on milk replacer and supplements… Today is the last day to help them via the Bucket Fund… Can you?
